SMIC announces that its sales revenue in the first quarter of 2025 was 16.301 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.4%; net profit was 1.356 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 166.5%. The company expects a decrease of 4% to 6% in revenue in the second quarter, with a gross margin guidance of 18% to 20%. The capacity utilization rate in the first quarter increased to 89.6%, a quarter-on-quarter increase of 4.1 percentage points.
