India claims to have destroyed Pakistan's Lahore air defense system.

The Indian Public Information Bureau issued a notice stating that on the night of the 7th to the 8th, Pakistan attempted to use drones and missiles to attack military targets in northern and western India. These attacks were intercepted by the Indian side, and some weapon debris was found at the locations confirmed to be the Pakistani attack sites. The notice stated that on the morning of the 8th, the Indian Armed Forces retaliated against multiple Pakistani anti-aircraft radars and systems with the same range and intensity, in response to the Pakistani actions. The notice also mentioned reliable information that the Lahore anti-aircraft system had been destroyed. There has been no response from the Pakistani side to the Indian claims. On the 8th, explosions were heard in Lahore. The Pakistani military reported that a drone was shot down and crashed in Lahore.
