Sony and Bandai Namco will invest 10 billion yen in Gaudiy to collaborate in the entertainment and technology fields.

On May 8th, Sony Group, Bandai Namco, and the Japanese blockchain startup Gaudiy announced a partnership to deepen cooperation in the entertainment and technology fields. To facilitate this partnership, Sony and Bandai Namco will jointly invest 10 billion yen in Gaudiy. The three parties aim to expand Japanese intellectual property (IP) to the global market, including integrating Sony's streaming platform Crunchyroll with Gaudiy's anime community website MyAnimeList.
