According to the Guangzhou Customs, with the deepening implementation of policies such as the 240-hour transit visa-free policy and the advancement of the integration of culture, tourism, and exhibition development models, the inbound tourism market continues to heat up. According to statistics, from January to April this year, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Customs has checked over 4600 departure tax refund applications from overseas passengers, with a total amount of approximately 1.04 billion yuan. This represents a year-on-year increase of 195% and 149% respectively.
