Last year, the 26 A-share gaming companies had a total revenue of nearly 190 billion yuan: over half of them had a decline in net profit, with going overseas becoming the mainstream choice.

The gaming company released its annual report for the year 2024. Century Huatong, Seven Entertainment, and Shenzhou Taiyue ranked as the top three A-share gaming companies in terms of operating income for 2024, with revenues of 22.62 billion yuan, 17.44 billion yuan, and 6.45 billion yuan respectively. Century Huatong and Seven Entertainment showed a significant lead. In terms of net profit, the top three were Seven Entertainment, Kaiying Network, and Shenzhou Taiyue, with profits of 2.67 billion yuan, 1.63 billion yuan, and 1.43 billion yuan respectively. Among the 26 A-share listed companies included in the statistics, more than half of the gaming industry's revenue and profit growth rates declined year-on-year, with the most significant decline in profit being Starlight Entertainment, which dropped by over 1752% year-on-year.
