The seventh Disney theme park in the world will be located in Abu Dhabi.

On May 7th, Walt Disney Company CEO Robert A. Iger announced in Abu Dhabi that the 7th global Disney theme park will be established in Abu Dhabi. "The 7th Disney theme park resort will rise spectacularly from the shores of this land, blending the wonderful Disney stories and characters with the cultural tastes of this country and region." Iger noted that the 7th Disney theme park will be true to Disney style while also incorporating the unique characteristics of the UAE.
