The EU is considering sanctions against Lukoil's Dubai subsidiary.
The EU is considering imposing sanctions on Litasco Middle East DMCC as part of a comprehensive new measure against the Moscow shadow oil tanker fleet. The company is a trading subsidiary of the Russian oil giant Lukoil in Dubai. Documents show that this would be the first time the West seeks sanctions against a Litasco entity since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Its parent company Lukoil was the second largest Russian company selling crude oil to overseas markets last year.
