The Guangzhou Municipal Committee for Comprehensive Deepening Reform held a meeting on May 7th to discuss the "Guangzhou City 2025 Comprehensive Deepening Reform Key Work Arrangement" and other related documents, listen to reports on reform in various fields, and deploy next steps of work. The meeting emphasized the need to promote the integration of domestic and foreign trade reforms, closely align with national and provincial work deployment, implement precise measures based on enterprise needs, actively promote the integration of domestic and foreign trade rules, empower e-commerce platforms, support enterprises in switching from foreign trade to domestic sales, and expand into diversified markets to firmly stabilize the foundation of foreign trade. It is necessary to improve the mechanism for enterprise mergers and acquisitions, accelerate the introduction of policies and measures to support state-owned enterprise mergers and acquisitions, establish a long-term assessment mechanism, better utilize the role of lead enterprises and state-owned funds, focus on key links of the industrial chain to attract a group of large projects, promote the integration and enhancement of the industrial chain.
