Barrick Gold Corporation announced on May 6th, local time, that after obtaining approval from shareholders, the company has officially changed its name to "Barrick Mining Corporation." In conjunction with the name change, the company's common stock ticker symbol on the New York Stock Exchange will be changed to "B" and will take effect on May 9th.
