The euro fell 0.39% against the Japanese yen, to 161.96 yen; the British pound fell 0.35% against the Japanese yen, to 190.377 yen. The euro rose 0.52% against the US dollar, the British pound rose 0.54% against the US dollar, and the US dollar fell 0.07% against the Swiss franc. In commodity currency pairs, the Australian dollar rose 0.40% against the US dollar, the New Zealand dollar rose 0.64% against the US dollar, and the US dollar fell 0.36% against the Canadian dollar - traders' sentiment towards the Canadian dollar reached a new high since 2009.
