During the May Day holiday, more than 20 million passengers were transported on the Yangtze River Delta railway, a year-on-year increase of over 10%.

The May Day holiday in 2025 came to an end yesterday. According to the China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd., the number of passengers traveling on the Yangtze River Delta Railway during the 5-day holiday exceeded 20 million, with an average daily number of passengers exceeding 4 million, an increase of over 10% compared to the previous year. On May 1st alone, a total of 4.268 million passengers were sent, setting a new record for the daily passenger volume of the group.
