If negotiations fail, the EU will take "heavy-handed" measures: imposing tariffs on $100 billion worth of American goods.
According to the Wise Finance APP, informed sources revealed that if the ongoing trade negotiations do not meet the expectations of the European Union, the EU plans to impose retaliatory tariffs on American goods worth approximately 100 billion euros (about 113 billion US dollars). The list of countermeasures is expected to be submitted for member state review as early as this Wednesday, and will be finalized after a month of negotiations, during which there is still room for adjustments to the list.
