According to reports, the Bank of Japan is set to launch a survey on enterprise wage trends as early as 2027. The Bank of Japan currently uses wage data from unions, but has been unable to fully grasp the trends of small and medium-sized enterprises that often do not have unions. It is expected that this survey project will be added to the Bank of Japan's quarterly Tankan survey.
