Shanghai Futures Exchange and Gulf Commodity Exchange signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation.

Recently, the Shanghai Futures Exchange and the Gulf Mercantile Exchange signed a memorandum of cooperation, aiming to further strengthen the exchange and cooperation between the two bulk commodity derivative markets. GME is headquartered in the Dubai International Financial Center in the UAE and was formerly known as the Dubai Commodity Exchange, one of the important commodity futures exchanges in the Middle East region. According to the memorandum, the Shanghai Futures Exchange and GME will jointly explore deeper cooperation in areas such as product research and development, knowledge sharing, market research, personnel exchange, market training, and promotion, in order to promote exchange and mutual learning between the two markets and provide more risk management tools for investors in both regions.
