During the "May Day" holiday in 2025, UnionPay and China UnionPay jointly processed 23.439 billion payment transactions with a total amount of 7.64 trillion yuan, representing an increase of 20.49% and 3.21% respectively compared to the previous year's "May Day" holiday. Among them, the number of payment transactions from overseas visitors to China increased by 244.86% in terms of transactions and 128.04% in terms of amount compared to the same period last year.
