Henan province issues warning of risk of drought and heat damage to wheat crops.

The Henan Provincial Meteorological Bureau and the Henan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs jointly issued a warning of high risk of dry hot wind disasters for wheat. Currently, wheat in Henan Province has entered the grain filling stage. It is expected that from May 11th to 13th, most parts of the province will experience high temperatures above 35C, combined with lack of soil moisture, the risk of dry hot wind disasters will reach moderate to high levels. Among them, Anyang, Puyang, Hebi, Jiaozuo, Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Xuchang, Pingdingshan, and most parts of Xinxiang in the west and northeast parts of Nanyang are high-risk areas for dry hot wind disasters, which will affect the normal grain filling of wheat. It is recommended to strengthen precautions.
