Peru issues final anti-dumping ruling on Chinese metal tableware

On April 27, 2025, the Peru National Competition and Intellectual Property Protection Authority's Anti-dumping, Subsidies, and Elimination of Non-Tariff Trade Barriers Committee issued Announcement No. 058-2025/CDB-INDECOPI in the official newspaper "El Peruano", making a final ruling on anti-dumping measures for standard tableware made of common metal with a thickness not exceeding 1.5 millimeters originating from China. The committee decided to set a minimum price of $7.84 per kilogram for the products involved, and to impose an anti-dumping duty of $1.88 per kilogram only when the declared customs value of the products is below the minimum price. At the same time, the temporary anti-dumping measures set out in Announcement No. 014-2025/CDB-INDECOPI were repealed. The measures will take effect the day after the announcement is published and will be in effect for five years. The Peru tariff numbers for the products involved are 8211.10.00.00, 8211.91.00.00, 8211.93.90.00, 8215.10.00.00, 8215.20.00.00, 8215.91.00.00, and 8215.99.00.00.
