During the May Day holiday, there were a total of 10,931 flights departing and arriving at both airports in Beijing, marking an 8% increase compared to the previous year.

On May 6th, it was reported that according to statistics from the North China Air Traffic Control, during the May Day holiday in 2025, North China Air Traffic Control ensured a total of 10,931 takeoffs and landings at the Capital Airport and Daxing Airport, an increase of 8% compared to the previous year's May Day holiday. Among them, there were 6,101 takeoffs and landings at the Capital Airport, an increase of 7.1% compared to the same period last year; and 4,830 takeoffs and landings at Daxing Airport, an increase of 9.1% compared to the same period last year. While ensuring air traffic control for high volume flights during the holiday, North China Air Traffic Control also activated a green channel to provide special support for 7 flights carrying human organ transplants and 6 flights carrying patients.
