Since the original factory announced the reduction/shift of production of DDR4 and LPDDR4X over half a year ago, the capacity adjustment has been progressing effectively. Recently, there has been a tight supply of some DDR chips and LPDDR4X resources in the storage spot market, while mobile customers had relatively healthy inventory and PC OEMs have gradually reduced their inventory levels after long-term adjustments. Recently, some end customers, such as mobile and PC manufacturers, have been gradually replenishing their inventory, leading to a price increase in the industry for DDR4 and low-capacity embedded LPDDR4X this week.
