The Ministry of Water Resources arranges and deploys work to prevent and respond to heavy rainfall in the southern region.

According to the forecast, from May 7th to 10th, there will be a heavy rainfall process in most of South China, the eastern and northern parts of South China, the eastern parts of Southwest China, and the southern parts of the Yangtze-Huaihe River. On the morning of May 6th, the Ministry of Water Resources organized a flood prevention meeting to analyze the rainfall and flood situation in the southern region, and arrange the deployment of measures to prevent and respond to heavy rainfall.
