In an interview on Sunday local time, Musk stated, "Tesla will launch unsupervised FSD technology in the next few months." This technology will first be applied in Austin, Texas, and then expanded to other areas of the United States. "In fact, in the future, it will be difficult to see manually driven cars. It's like it's hard to see a horse now," Musk said. He also shared the latest on Tesla's Optimus Prime robot, calling it a "personal R2D2 or C3PO robot companion," and predicted that it will be a "significant, substantial product." Musk also shared the latest developments on Neuralink's brain-machine interface product called "BlindSight," stating, "We hope to implant the first BlindSight device in humans later this year." He also shared the company's plans to begin researching a Neuralink implant to help "people with spinal cord injuries walk again."
