In terms of regions, the eastern region completed Internet business revenue of 367.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%, higher than the national growth rate by 1.5 percentage points, accounting for 89.3% of the national Internet business revenue. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region completed Internet business revenue of 125.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%, accounting for 30.4% of the national Internet business revenue. In addition, in the first quarter, the research and development expenditure growth rate of China's Internet enterprises above a certain scale accelerated, with a total investment of 20.45 billion yuan in research and development expenditure, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%, an increase of 1.8 percentage points compared to January and February.
