The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the operating situation of the internet and related services industry in the first quarter of 2025. In the first quarter, China's internet and related service enterprises with a scale above a certain threshold achieved a total internet business revenue of 411.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.4%. Internet enterprises collectively invested 20.45 billion yuan in research and development, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%, with growth rate rising by 1.8 percentage points compared to January and February.
