The Chief Executive, Carrie Lam, stated that in order to further assist companies in the technology and biotechnology sectors to raise funds for business development, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will open a special line for technology companies, arrange a dedicated team to communicate with potential applicants as soon as possible, and provide assistance for the listing of relevant companies, to strengthen the understanding of relevant rules and assessment criteria for the applicability to specific business of the companies, and to have preliminary communication on different important issues. The Securities and Futures Commission will closely cooperate with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in the process.
