Market Supervision Administration releases results of special inspection on "Three Tables" for civil use.

The General Administration of Market Supervision reported on the special supervision and inspection of civil "three meters" measurement in 2024. The report shows that there are currently 660 million electricity meters, 320 million water meters, and 260 million gas meters in use nationwide. In this supervision and inspection, a total of 2.96 million electricity meters were randomly inspected, with 1799 found to be unqualified, a pass rate of 99.94%; 1.69 million water meters were randomly inspected, with 10,600 found to be unqualified, a pass rate of 99.37%; and 1.31 million gas meters were randomly inspected, with 2923 found to be unqualified, a pass rate of 99.78%. From the special supervision and inspection, the overall qualification rate of civil "three meters" calibration in the country is at a relatively high level.
