"May Day" data on lifestyle services from Douyin: Small city tourism is booming, significant increase in consumption on "food and lodging"

On May 5th, Douyin Life Services released a "May Day" consumption data report, showing that during the "May Day" holiday, offline store consumption was strong, with consumers' demand in clothing, food, housing, travel, shopping, and entertainment becoming more diverse. Accommodation and family meal Douyin group-buying orders increased by over 70% compared to the same period last year, while hotel and scenic package group-buying orders increased by 116%. The number of dress chain store group-buying orders that were used in-store increased by 462%. In addition, consumption vitality in small cities continued to grow, with significant increases in the number of accommodation and dining Douyin group-buying orders in places such as Tongling, Anhui, Yichun, Jiangxi, Tongliao, Inner Mongolia, and Lingshui, Hainan.
