The Yangtze River Delta, which only accounts for 4% of the country's total area, has 9 "trillion-dollar GDP cities", which is one-third of the national total. The total GDP is approximately one-seventh of the national total. Currently, the statistical departments of the 9 cities have all released the economic performance for the first quarter. Production and supply in various areas are growing rapidly, market demand is steadily improving, and new quality production capabilities are being cultivated at a faster pace. The economic performance has achieved a good start, with the current growth rates of Shanghai and 7 other cities exceeding or equaling the national average for the whole of last year. It has been observed that since the beginning of this year, there has been an increasing demand for intelligent upgrades across different industries, and the policy dividends for equipment updates released by the government have accelerated the penetration of robots in the market. The term "robot production" has frequently appeared in the first-quarter reports of various local statistical departments. Industrial robots and service robots in industrial towns such as Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Ningbo have achieved double-digit or even multiple growth rates in production.
