Snooker World Championship's first title for China

On the evening of May 5th local time, in Sheffield, England, 28-year-old Chinese player Zhao Xintong defeated 50-year-old British veteran Mark Williams in the early hours of Beijing time today, winning the 2025 Snooker World Championship. Zhao Xintong became the first Chinese player to win the Snooker World Championship and also the first Asian player to win the championship in the history of the World Championship.
