Heavy rain and hail hit Hezhou, Guangxi, breaking trees and damaging vehicles.

On May 5th, from 3pm to 4pm, the urban area of Hezhou City, Guangxi experienced short-term heavy rainfall accompanied by hail and strong winds of level 10. The severe convective weather caused over 80 trees to fall or break in areas such as Chengshe Road, Xiaohedadao, Badaroad, XinXing South Road, and multiple residents' vehicles were damaged. Currently, the local garden management department, fire department, and traffic police are working to clear road obstacles and ensure road safety. The Hezhou Meteorological Bureau forecasts that strong convective weather will continue in the central to southern parts of Hezhou tonight. On the 6th, there will be light to moderate rain, possibly heavy rain in some areas with short-term thunderstorms and strong winds, so please take precautions.
