Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan meets with President of Pakistan, discusses current developments between Pakistan and India.

On May 4th, Ambassador Jiang Zaidong met with President Zardari of Pakistan. Both sides highly praised the ironclad friendship between China and Pakistan and their all-weather strategic cooperation partnership, and agreed to implement the consensus of the two countries' leadership levels, further deepen cooperation and exchanges in various fields, and achieve cooperative development and shared prosperity in the current complex and ever-changing international situation. They also exchanged views on the current situation between Pakistan and India, and agreed to continue to work together to contribute to the peace and stability of South Asia.
