Ningxia experiences extreme weather with strong winds in multiple locations, leading to temporary closures of many scenic areas.

On May 5th, affected by severe convective weather, many areas in Ningxia continued to experience strong winds and extreme weather. In order to ensure the safety and experience of tourists, Ningxia temporarily closed several tourist attractions including Helan Mountain Rock Paintings Scenic Area, Baisikou Twin Towers Scenic Area, Helan Mountain Rolling Bell Mouth Scenic Area, Ningxia Huangsha Ancient Ferry National Wetland Park, Ningxia Shuidonggou Tourist Area, Ningxia Lingwu Dinosaur Geological Park, and Lanshan Park. The reopening time will be notified based on the weather conditions.
