After the holiday, the Beijing Stock Exchange may see its first delisted stock.
On the last trading day of April, Gauda Digital, a listed company on the Beijing Stock Exchange, suspended trading for one day. Due to receiving an audit opinion in the 2024 annual report that was unable to express an opinion, after the May Day holiday, this stock will be changed to "*ST Gauda". This also means that the Beijing Stock Exchange may soon welcome its first truly delisted stock. Previously in December 2024, Gauda Digital was investigated by the China Securities Regulatory Commission for suspected violations of information disclosure laws and regulations, and the investigation is currently ongoing. However, its sponsoring institution issued a statement on April 29, announcing that they plan to take all possible measures, including advance compensation, to protect the interests of investors to the maximum extent.
