On May 3rd, according to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, on the third day of the "May Day" holiday, the total number of tourists received in the city was 3.888 million, an increase of 6.2% compared to the same period last year; the total tourism expenditure reached 4.47 billion yuan, an increase of 6.6% compared to the same period last year; the average expenditure per person was 1,149.3 yuan/person, an increase of 0.4% year-on-year.
