Our country has launched a special law enforcement action for marine closed fishing seasons.

To protect ocean fishery resources and the ecological environment, maintain the order of marine fishing moratorium period, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Public Security, and the China Coast Guard have decided to launch a special enforcement action on marine fishing moratorium from May 1st to September 16th, 2025. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Public Security, and the China Coast Guard recently issued a notice regarding the special enforcement action on marine fishing moratorium in 2025, deploying key tasks such as strict inspection of fishing ports, rigorous enforcement at sea, strict regulation of special fishing activities, strict control of key marine areas, strict prevention of key targets, and strict punishment of fishing-related crimes.
