On May 4th at 10 AM, the China Meteorological Administration continues to issue a blue alert for heavy rain.

It is expected that from 14:00 on May 4th to 14:00 on May 5th, there will be heavy to torrential rain in parts of southeastern Guizhou, northeastern Guangxi, northern Guangdong, central and southern Hunan, southern and eastern Jiangxi, western Fujian, southern Anhui, eastern Hubei, western and northeastern Zhejiang, Shanghai, and southwestern Sichuan Basin. Among them, parts of southeastern Jiangxi, western Fujian, southeastern Guizhou, southwestern Hunan, and northeastern Guangxi may experience heavy downpours. These areas will also have short periods of heavy rainfall, locally accompanied by thunderstorms and strong convective weather.
