About 1.08 million people entered Hong Kong in the two days before the "May Day" holiday.
During the "May Day" holiday, as a popular destination for outbound tourism, Hong Kong welcomed a peak in tourist flow, with various tourist attractions and venues crowded with visitors. According to data from the Hong Kong Immigration Department, in the first two days of the May Day holiday, there were approximately 1.08 million inbound travelers, including around 480,000 mainland Chinese visitors, an increase of over 30% compared to the same period last year. It is estimated that during the "May Day" holiday period, Hong Kong will attract over 800,000 mainland Chinese visitors.
