The large scientific device "Kuafu" accelerates the research and development of "artificial sun"

In order to develop and utilize fusion energy, China has designed and built a large scientific facility in Hefei, Anhui Province the Fusion Reactor Main Machine Key System Comprehensive Research Facility, also known as the "Kuafu" project. This facility will provide technical support and a large research and development testing platform for the future construction of fusion reactors in China. The construction of the "Kuafu" project has entered a critical stage and is expected to be fully completed by the end of 2025.
