Recently, with the completion of the 2024 annual reports of the securities industry on the China Securities Industry Association website, the performance of foreign securities firms in 2024 has been fully disclosed. Overall, the operating income of foreign securities firms in 2024 has increased compared to 2023. Looking at the performance of various well-known foreign securities firms, Goldman Sachs (China) led the pack in terms of performance in 2024, with a net profit increase of 158% to 498 million yuan; while Morgan Stanley Securities achieved a net profit of 259 million yuan last year, both securities firms achieved a net profit increase of over 100% year-on-year in 2024. UBS Securities achieved a net profit of 150 million yuan in 2024, a significant increase of 693% compared to 2023.
