China Railway Group: National railway passenger traffic has increased by more than 10% year-on-year for three consecutive days.

According to China National Railway Group Co., Ltd., it is estimated that the national railway will send 18 million passengers on May 3, and plans to add 1,563 passenger trains. On May 2, the national railway sent 19.55 million passengers, an increase of 11.1% compared to the same period last year, and transportation safety was stable and orderly. The head of the passenger transport department of the National Railway Group introduced that during the May Day holiday, the demand for railway visits, tourism and other travel was strong, and passenger flow showed a strong growth trend. From April 30 to May 2, the national railway passenger volume increased by more than 10% for three consecutive days compared to the same period last year, especially on May 1, breaking through two milestones of 22 million and 23 million continuously, reaching 23.119 million passengers, setting a new historical record.
