According to the China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd., on May 3, the passenger traffic on the Yangtze River Delta Railway continued to operate at a high level, with an estimated 3.9 million passengers expected to be sent. In addition to using peak lines, the railway department plans to increase the number of round-trip passenger trains to Central China, South China, Central Plains, Northwest China, and within the Yangtze River Delta region, including Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Anhui provinces, by 153 trains. This includes organizing the operation of 295 sets of multiple units trains to fully ensure the travel needs of passengers.
