Russian air passenger traffic in March increased by 0.1% year-on-year.

According to data from the Russian aviation authority cited by the TASS news agency, in March 2025, Russian airlines carried 7.96 million passengers, an increase of 0.1% compared to the same period last year. In March, the number of passengers on international routes in Russia increased by 2.2% to reach 2.05 million. The number of passengers on domestic flights in Russia decreased by 0.6% to 5.91 million. The Russian aviation authority stated that in the first quarter of this year, the passenger volume of Russian airlines decreased by 1% compared to the same period last year, reaching 22.7 million passengers.
