Qingdao West Coast New Area Ling Mountain Island New Pier opens trial operation.

The land-sea transportation terminal on Lingshan Island in the West Coast New District of Qingdao has officially entered trial operation. As a key livelihood project in the new district, this project will significantly enhance the level of island transportation services and promote the upgrading of the marine tourism industry in the new district. The newly built terminal is located in the sea area of Chengkouzi Village, northwest of Lingshan Island. The project includes a 256-meter breakwater, a 6,350-square-meter transparent platform, and 4 passenger boat berths, as well as supporting facilities such as a 2,200-square-meter waiting shed. The designed annual passenger volume is 650,000, and an intelligent ticketing system and a digital scheduling platform will be introduced to achieve rapid dispersion of passenger flow during peak periods.
