On the first day of the "May Day" holiday, tourist attractions in many parts of the country welcomed large crowds. More than 500,000 tourists visited the West Lake Scenic Area in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. In Anhui, popular tourist attractions with a large number of visitors included Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area, Feixi Sanhe Ancient Town, Ancient Huizhou Cultural Tourism Area, Tianzhu Mountain Scenic Area, and Huangshan Scenic Area.
