The Tesla Model Y has become the most common car on the roads in Norway. According to data from the Norwegian Road Traffic Information Council (OFV) tracking vehicle registrations, as of the end of March/beginning of April 2025, there were a total of 68,378 Model Y vehicles with Norwegian license plates. According to a report from Elbil24, in the past few weeks, the registration of Model Y vehicles in Norway has exceeded 70,000. The Toyota Rav4 is now in second place, followed closely by the Nissan Leaf, Volkswagen Golf, and Toyota Yaris.
