The yield on 2 to 10-year US Treasury bonds has risen by up to around 10 basis points.
On Thursday afternoon in New York, the yield on the 10-year US Treasury note rose by 6.91 basis points to 4.2311%. It fluctuated downwards smoothly during the day until hitting a daily low of 4.1197% at 20:30 Beijing time when the US jobless claims report was released. After the release of the US ISM manufacturing data at 22:00, the yield significantly increased, reaching a daily high of 4.2388% at 02:26.
The yield on the 2-year US Treasury note rose by 9.59 basis points to 3.7007%, trading between 3.5535% and 3.7212% during the day. The yield on the 3-year US Treasury note rose by 8.97 basis points, the 5-year yield rose by 7.93 basis points, and the 7-year yield rose by 7.21 basis points.
