MTR "Cats and Dogs Travel Together" Light Rail Trial Plan officially launched.

Starting from the 1st of Hong Kong Railway Corporation will officially implement the "Pets Onboard" program on the Light Rail system, allowing pet owners to bring their cats and dogs on board the Light Rail every Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays until further notice. According to the regulations, passengers carrying cats and dogs must purchase and hold a "Pets Onboard Pass" in addition to paying their own fare. Police dogs and guide dogs are not subject to this requirement. In addition, the MTR has also issued terms and guidelines for the use of the "Pets Onboard Pass", specifying the range of pet travel, seating locations, boarding and disembarking positions, and the specifications for pet carriers, and urging passengers to be tolerant and respectful of each other.
