Greg Guyett, Co-Head of Global Investment Banking at HSBC Holdings, will be leaving the British bank in the coming months, becoming another high-ranking executive to depart following the bank's comprehensive restructuring. A memo obtained by Bloomberg shows that the former JPMorgan banker will be leaving HSBC at the end of July and will then join the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Head of Client Services Group. In another statement, Odile Renaud-Basso, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, welcomed Guyett's appointment, stating that he will bring "rich experience and expertise" to this new role in the public sector.
