Institution: Visibility of May photovoltaic module orders declines, upstream and midstream enter price decline zone.
According to the data from TrendForce, the photovoltaic industry is showing a weakening demand trend. In May, order visibility is poor and leading manufacturers are reducing production and outsourcing orders, with an expected production reduction of over 10%. Second and third-tier manufacturers are facing insufficient orders and are resorting to price cuts to move their products. On the demand side, in China, the stocking frenzy is coming to an end, but demand is still waiting for ground power station stocking to start. In overseas markets, in Europe, the price of imported modules is unstable; in India, post-fiscal year import demand is seasonally declining; in the United States, DDP module prices are rising, and the exemption period is stimulating imports.
