Hainan Free Trade Port "zero tariff" import of drugs and medical devices policy benefited goods worth over 60 million yuan.

On May 1st, it was reported by the Haikou Customs that since the implementation of the "zero tariff" policy for imported drugs and medical devices in the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pioneer Area in Hainan Free Trade Port on December 25, 2024, a total of 10 hospitals have been approved to benefit from the policy. Haikou Customs has supervised a total declared value of 60.239 million RMB for the imported drugs and medical devices under the "zero tariff" policy, with 8.187 million RMB tax exemptions.
