Reporters learned from China Railway Nanning Bureau that starting from April 30, the deadline for railway transportation during the "May Day" holiday officially begins, implementing a peak operation schedule. To serve the peak travel flow during the holiday, China Railway Nanning Bureau will increase the capacity and train operations, with more than 760 additional passenger trains scheduled during the holiday period to provide travel guarantees for passengers. From April 29 to May 6, China Railway Nanning Bureau is expected to transport 4.5 million passengers, with the main passenger flow concentrated on the sections with high-speed trains and on conventional speed lines such as Liuzhan, Tianjing, Qiangu, Jiaoliu, etc. Starting from April 30, China Railway Nanning Bureau will add overnight high-speed trains on the Nan-Guang, Gui-Guang, Liu-Nan, Heng-Liu lines, while also increasing capacity and train operations on popular routes such as Beijing-Guangzhou, Guiyang-Nanning, and Nanning-Beihai, covering popular cities such as Nanning, Liuzhou, Guilin, Baise, Yulin, Hezhou, Beihai, and Hechi in the region, as well as cross-regional cities such as Zhengzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Guiyang, Changsha, Guangzhou, Shenzhen in Guangxi, providing travelers with more options for their trips.
